The challenging Gastown course takes riders on a slight uphill along Water Street into turn 1, a 165-degree hairpurn turn onto Cordova St.. Riders then have a superfast three-block stretch that sends them downhill towards a left turn onto Carrall Street and into Maple Tree Square, home of the famous Gassy Jack Statue and Europa Hotel. Riders exit the square with a sweeping left turn back onto cobblestones of Water Street and a 250 meter dash to the finish at the world-famous Gastown Steamclock.

Race Details:
Women's Criterium 6:15 pm
Men's Criterium 7:30 pm
Women's Race: 30 laps, 36km, 60 riders (approx)
Men's Race: 50 laps, 60km, 130 riders (approx)
Field Max: 130 riders

Prizes:
Distribution of $10,000 purse will reflect the number of riders in each event. Prize money goes 10 deep in the Women's race, 20 deep in the Men's race.

There will also be a minimum of $5,000 in race ‘primes’ given away throughout both the men’s and women’s races.
